Camp Hogwarts

Enjoy the magic of Green Eyrie as you whittle your own wand, play Quidditch, and experience the fun of Potions, Transfiguration, and even Herbology. Kaleidoscope: Sampler

Interested in cooking inside and over a fire? Want to see what it takes to feed the whole camp? Come for a week packed with all kinds of food fun! Take a tour of the camp kitchen, make your own recipe book to keep and add to at home, and even create your own menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert! You will be able to work towards your Junior “Cooking” badge.
Slimy Scientist

Would you like to get your hand in some goop? Learn to make different types of slime, gak, gunk, putty, floam, and ooze, then you can experiment with your own recipes. You may even make some slime good enough to eat. All during the week, you will still have time for traditional camp activities.

Are you a babysitter or looking forward to being a babysitter soon? During this week at camp you will earn the American Red Cross Babysitting Certificate and try your skills caring for a baby all while enjoying a fabulous week at camp.
Voyagers

Try your hand at all types of boating - canoing, rowing, sailing, and kayaking. Learn how to do a Canoe-over-Canoe rescue and other water safety skills. After you have explored Bare Hill Pond, plan a day trip down a local river. Don’t forget to enjoy the rest that Green Eyrie has to offer! *Must be comfortable in and around the water.
Green Eyrie Games

Are you ready to volunteer for the first annual Green Eyrie Hunger Games? Learn about shelter building, camouflage, plant identification, orienteering, outdoor cooking, and archery! You’ll even have the option to spend the night in a shelter you build yourself. At the end of the session, participate in a tournament to test your new skills where everyone survives.
Pedal Power
Session 3/4: July 14-July 25

Bring your spirit and bike (or reserve one of ours), and we will supply the fun! You will have plenty of biking time to build your strength, as you take day trips near camp. Learn basic repair, work on techniques, and practice first aid too. You will still have plenty of time to enjoy the rest of Camp Green Eyrie.
Rangers

Love to hike and “rough it”? Come to camp where you’ll learn basic backpacking skills while taking day trips to local state parks. Then, head out to Mount Monadnock, where you’ll get to test yourself on a hiking adventure. While you are at camp, take full advantage of the low ropes and archery course. You can even work toward your Cadette Trailblazing badge.
*Participants should bring broken-in hiking boots and must be able to hike 3-5 miles per day.
Allez Cuisine: Around the World in Six Days

Spend the week with counselors from different countries while cooking ethnic cuisines, playing games from around the world, learning basic phrases in other languages, and making outfits to represent diverse cultures all while still enjoying the other activities that camp has to offer!

Get ready to see the best that Massachusetts has to offer! Your group will decide on two day trips. Perhaps you will decide to go to Salem, Concord, or Lexington. Then embark on an overnight at a youth hostel in Boston where you will explore the Freedom Trail and other sites.

Do you enjoy staying up late into the night? Tune in to your five senses. Take a hike, explore the stars, and do some late night cooking. You’ll also learn about nocturnal creatures and triboluminescence. Perhaps you will watch the sun rise before heading to bed. Sleep in, but still have enough daylight to swim, boat, and shoot archery. You may choose to work toward the Cadette “Night Owl” badge.
The Crew

Does the thought of using power tools and building items with you own hands excite you? Join “The Crew” and you will learn how to use power tools safely while designing and completing your own project. Perhaps you will build something we can use at camp or maybe help Camp Green Eyrie: Glee build props and a set for their performance. While working on your Cadette Woodworker badge there will be plenty of time to swim, try your hand at archery, and other camp activities.
For Girls Entering Grades 8-11
Rocks & Rafts
Session 1: June 30–July 5

Get the best of both worlds - spend a day rock climbing and a day white water rafting (both trips are professionally-guided). Use the rest of your time to enjoy all the fun offered at Camp Green Eyrie,
including archery and sailing.
*Participants should have had boating experience, knowledge of basic strokes, and be able to swim the front crawl 50 yards and tread water for 5 minutes. It is recommended that you have participated in Voyagers or have similar experience.
Camp Green Eyrie Glee

Get ready to Gleek out at camp for a week! Have you ever had a desire to be on stage or work behind the scenes? Come along to Green Eyrie to be part of a Glee inspired production week where you can choose to be the writer, director, or actor. You will get to work with other girls to create a performance from start to end, while still getting to enjoy all the other fun that camp has to offer.

Sea to Summit

Join us for a trip to the White Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. We’ll begin by spending two nights camping in the White Mountains, taking fabulous day hikes and relaxing around the fire at night. Then it’s off to camp at Salisbury Beach State Park for two nights to enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean. Seniors can work toward their Adventure badge.
* Bring broken-in hiking boots and must be able to hike 5-10 miles per day. It is recommended that you have participated in Rangers or have similar experience.

Camp Green Brae

Can’t choose between Green Eyrie and Bonnie Brae? You don’t have to! Discover and experience the very best of both camps during this special two-week session. You’ll spend your first week at Green Eyrie then head southwest to spend your second week at Bonnie Brae. During your stay at both camps, you’ll learn a little bit about what it takes to be on staff, practice leadership skills, and work with some younger campers. If you’re thinking about doing CIT at either camp, this program is the place to start.
*Check-in will be at Camp Green Eyrie and pick-up will be at Camp Bonnie Brae.
CIT I
Grade 11
Session 4,5,6: July 21-August 9

Develop skills to work with children in an educational, outdoor setting. You will gain an understanding of child development, camp programming, outdoor living, behavior management, teaching techniques, problem solving, decision making, and communication. Then, put your new skills to the test when you intern in a camper unit. All interested girls must submit an application and will participate in an interview process.
*Campers will go home in between sessions.
CIT II
Grade 12
Session 1,2,3,4: June 30–July 25

Live at camp, work in units or program areas, and get in-depth, on-the-job experience and training. You may opt to earn your CIT II pin. Prior participation in CIT I preferred. All interested campers must submit an application and three reference forms and will participate in an interview.
