Spring into Archery for Bridging Daisies
Camp Bonnie Brae
Saturday, May 19, 2012 (11:00 am-2:00 pm)

As a bridging Daisy, you can get a taste of archery and begin working on your Archery Brownie Badge. First, you’ll learn safety, voice and whistle commands. Then, after warming up with a few drills, you’ll step onto the range where you’ll try your hand at shooting!

Program Levels: Bridging Daisies (in 1st Grade)
Cost: $15 per girl; adults free

Daisy’s Nature Walk
Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary, Easthampton
Saturday, May 19, 2012 (10:00 am-Noon)

Girl Scout Daisies can go to Arcadia, take a hike and concentrate on the “Make the World A Better Place” petal. We’ll play games while visiting the forest, field and vernal pool. You will learn what lives in each habitat and how we can help to make our world a better place by respecting both plants and animals.

Camp Celebrate
GSCWM Camps
Sunday, May 20, 2012 (2:00 - 5:00 pm)

All troops or individual girls who exceed last year’s cookie sales by 10% will be invited to the party. We’ll plan an afternoon of fun at camp. We’ll provide camp activities, lunch, and a  celebration party with your troop as one of our special guests of honor. Set your sights for a fun day at camp!

Mall Madness
Eastfield Mall, Springfield
Date To Be Announced

Dive into the madness at the Eastfield Mall and complete requirements towards your It’s Your Planet Love it! journey. This fun-filled day will include singing, dancing and games – and of course time to shop! Daisies and Brownies are invited to stay until mall closing (9 pm), after which Juniors and Cadettes will continue the madness through the night. Cost includes all activities, dinner, snacks and a light breakfast.

Wild Women Weekend
Camp Bonnie Brae, East Otis

For girls and women only! Join GSCWM for a WILD weekend at camp. You’ll enjoy a mix of adventurous activities like boating and trust games, plus get the chance to pamper yourself at our “camp spa.” Get your groove on with some wildly wonderful karaoke. Come with your troop, or bring your mom, aunt, grandmother, or another female adult and join us for a wild time at camp. Girls and adults may be able to stay in the same cabin together or may be asked to have “girl only” and “adult only” cabins within the same living area, dependent upon enrollment.

Extra $3 per person for buildings

Rock the Mall - 100th Anniversary Sing-Along
Washington D.C.
Friday, June 8 - Sunday, June 10, 2012

Buses will depart from various locations throughout central and western Massachusetts beginning at 7:00 am on Friday and will return Sunday evening. Join GSCWM and sister Girl Scouts from around the country to celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouting in Washington D.C. as we “Rock the Mall!” You’ll travel via luxury coach from Massachusetts to Washington D.C. where you’ll spend two nights at an indoor corridor hotel (with an indoor pool). Price of the trip includes transportation, hotel, two breakfasts and two dinners, and professionally guided tours. For more information, download the Rock the Mall flyer.

Daisy Museum Adventure
Springfield Science Museum, Springfield
Saturday, June 9, 2012 (4:00 - 8:00 pm)

The Daisy Museum Adventure is a fun filled evening of museum activities that will include games, demonstrations, scavenger hunts and visits to special exhibits. You’ll also enjoy a pizza party
during the evening.

The Springfield Science Museum is a museum of natural history located in Springfield. It is home to the Solutia Live Animal Center, Seymour Planetarium (the oldest American-built planetarium in the world), R.E. Phelon African Hall and the Dinosaur Hall. Free and secure parking is available. You should plan to wear light/cool clothing and comfortable shoes.
