Exploring Women and Art Gr 2-5
Spend a day among traditional and contemporary African art, learn about its' global influence and how it continues to change our world. You'll see colorful masquerades and masks, beautiful symbolic textiles, and learn about women artists. Following a lunch break, you'll create African art projects to take home in our studio. Then together we'll explore the art, life and vision of our founder, Eleanor Norcross, with a guided Evoking Eleanor tour. The day concludes with gallery sketching of your favorite work of art. Bring a sack lunch.
