Girls, have you ever wondered, "How does that work?" or thought to yourself, "I could build that!" Come join us for a fun week and meet talented women and experience exciting opportunities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). Explore, experience and experiment, not for a grade, but for fun! Discover how you can make a difference in the world while exploring UMass Center at Springfield and by taking walking field trips to nearby sites.

Full S.T.E.A.M Ahead: College Matters for U is a week-long program offered through a partnership between the UMass Center at Springfield (UMCS) and the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts (GSCWM). The program runs from August 14-18th, from 9am-3pm each day, with parent drop off from 8:30-9:00am and pick up from 3:00-3:30pm.

Parents, each day your girls will tap into their creativity as they interact with professionals, faculty and graduate students in the S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) fields. Not only does this program introduce girls to a variety of career and college paths, it’s also filled with other activities including life skills, financial literacy, and arts and crafts and much more. Every day the girls will participate in programs centered on educational, cultural, social and physical development.

$100 Per Girl
