We have an aMAZing opportunity, thanks to funding from the Women’s Initiative - United Way of Central Massachusetts, for a free program for girls in 5-8th grade in greater Worcester. The program, BOSS (Bright, Outstandingly Strong, Self-Confident) Girls, incorporates the aMAZE Journey and is an anti-bullying program to increase girls’ abilities to be leaders for peace within their communities. With role-play, writing, games, and reflection to navigate issues like peer pressure, stereotypes, gossip, and cliques, the girls will discover their abilities to forge healthy relationships, connect to stop bullying, and take action to make change. This program will cover and work towards the Amaze Journey, girls will be responsible for completing the Take Action Project and finishing the journey on their own.

Included: Lunch each week,  program supplies, aMAZE Journey,  aMaze journey awards earned, and a Girl Scout membership if not a current member. *This program welcomes current Girl Scouts, but if your girl would like to bring a friend, GREAT!!
