Board of Directors Information

GSCWM's Board Development Committee is always on the search for dynamic individuals with diverse talents and experiences to help oversee the operations of the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts and further our mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.

If you know someone that you would recommend to be considered for the GSCWM Board (including girl members 14 years or older) or Board Development Committee, please fill out the Referral Form. Applications will be accepted through January 3, 2018.

Calling all Senior Girl Scouts

The GSCWM board of Directors includes four girl members. Any registered Girl Scout, age 14 and over can apply to be on the GSCWM board. This is a two year term commitment beginning at the Annual Meeting on April 29th, 2018. Girls must be 14 by January 2018 and be a girl member throughout the term ending in April of 2020. The Board meets five times a year at the Holyoke Service Center from 5:00 to 7:00 in addition to the Annual Meeting held each spring. The girl members chair the Girl Leadership Board and have a direct voice in the governance and operations of the council. This is a great leadership opportunity!!  Please use the referral form to apply to join our board.

*Massachusetts law requires that girl board members are not voting members.
