About Loanables
Wouldn’t it be great if you could just borrow a flag for your
awards ceremony instead of having to buy your own? Now
you can. Loanables are items which can be borrowed from
GSCWM for a week at a time from any council service center.
Below, you’ll see a full listing of the items available
along with basic descriptions. Additional information about
specifi c items is available by calling 800-462-9100 or
e-mailing info@gscwm.org.
All items (except as noted) are free of charge to borrow.
However, you will be asked to pay a modest deposit upon
pick-up to cover loss or damage to the item(s). When the
item(s) are returned in good working order, your deposit will
be returned to you.
Reserving Loanables
All items must be reserved at least two weeks in advance.
Most items can be reserved by phone (800-462-9100),
e-mail (info@gscwm.org) or in person at any council service
center. Archery equipment must be reserved by e-mail
(archery@gscwm.org) or phone (800-462-9100).
When reserving an item, you will need to provide:
- Name
- Phone Number
- E-mail Address
- Item(s) you’d like to reserve
- Dates you’d like to reserve the item(s)
- Service center where you will pick-up the item(s)
- Confirmation of completed training (if required)
Flags, Banners & Displays
As GSCWM and Girl Scouts around the nation celebrate
the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouting, you may have the
opportunity to participate in parades, events, or other
activities. For these activities, GSCWM has a variety of flags
and banners available to  borrow. All flags are on poles. Be
sure to reserve holsters or flag stands as needed (no deposit
is required for stands or holsters when reserved with a flag).

Archery Equipment
Archery equipment can be reserved for use at GSCWM
council sites or for use at off site locations. In order to
reserve archery equipment, an adult in your group must be
a certified Level 1 Archery Instructor or higher.
When reserving archery equipment, you will receive a bow
box which includes:
- 16 Bows
- 36 Arrows
- 12 Quivers
- Arm Guards
- Finger Tabs
- 1 Target (only available when using a GSCWM camp)
