COUNCIL MAP & JURISDICTION
Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts serves girls in 186 towns and cities throughout Central and Western Massachusetts. It may seem BIG, but it's not without local flavor, quality service and friendly faces.
About GSCWM Two offices of The Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts are on the move, but not far. If you drive by the Leeds Service Center or if you are inclined to peruse the real estate guides, you might notice a Girl Scout property, or two, for sale. The Annex, the old farm house adjacent to the main building in Leeds, is on the market. In light of our realignment, shifts have been made and we realized we no longer needed two buildings in that one location. Hence, the property at 271 Haydenville Road will be sold. The main building at 241 Haydenville Road has been refurbished with new carpet upstairs, new tile down, fresh paint all around and a fresh perspective to carry out our mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character, who will make the world a better place. The Girl Scout shop has been restocked with the latest guides for the new Journeys and space has been set aside to accommodate the newly established information and referral center. The Shepherd’s Hollow trail system remains and is a beautiful place to spend some time in the great outdoors. In addition to the office in Leeds, plans are underway to sell the East Longmeadow Girl Scout property. An alternate location has yet to be found, however the search is on for a new location in Hampden County that will better serve girls, staff, and volunteers. We will keep you informed. The Leeds, East Longmeadow and Worcester Service Centers continue the commitment to serving girls and their valued volunteers. Geographic Highlights
