Community First Aid and CPR
When your troop is ready to venture out from your regular meeting place, often times you are required to have an adult with you who is certified in First Aid and CPR. Activities that might require a first aider include day trips, hikes, sleepovers, and camping trips. Refer to Safety-Wise for more information on when and where a first aider is required.

GSCWM has an on-going relationship with one provider of first aid and CPR courses. We are working to develop more. You will find a few courses listed here. In addition, volunteers may take first aid training through an area Red Cross office, the National Safety Council, local emergency services, hospitals, fire or other rescue services. Paying for an adult in the troop to become a certified first aider is a valid troop expense. Financial Assistance is available.

A $45 fee is required for the trainings listed below and must be paid at the time of registration. To pay online via credit card, first fill out and send in the registration form, then click the button below to pay.
