Product Sales
We're not in the business of selling product; we're in the business of serving girls. Girl Scout
product sales are only one ingredient in our recipe for financial success. Income raised by
product sales benefits the activities and projects selected by girls right here in Central and Western Massachusetts. But, again, this is only one piece of the program pie. When we ask
people to buy Girl Scout cookies or nuts, we're asking them to invest in a girl's dream. We are
asking them to promote character, conduct and community service, the hallmarks of Girl
Scouting. They see a delicious edible. We see a girl's potential. We are asking them to make a
down payment on the future because the leaders of the future are selling Girl Scout product
today!
Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts participates in a Fall Product Program as
well as the Girl Scout Cookie Program. |

Fall Product Program

The Fall Product Program provides funding for troop program early in the school year. The Fall
Product Program offers snack items as well as magazine and music selections through QSP/Reader's
Digest. Order taking for this sale takes place in September and October with delivery in
November - perfect timing for all your holiday shopping needs.
Cookie Program
Girl Scouts and cookies share a rich history. While recipes and box designs have changed, selling
cookies remains an important part of today's Girl Scout program. The annual Girl Scout Cookie
Program takes places January-March each year. With eight varieties of tasty treats, these iconic
favorites help to fund Girl Scout troop programs for the entire year.
The activity of selling cookies is directly related to our purpose of helping all girls realize their full
potential and become strong, confident, and resourceful citizens.
- Girl Scouts practice life skills like goal setting, money management, and teamworkÑand
they have fun!
- Customers get a great product and support girls in their own community.
- All of the proceeds support Girl Scouting in the local community.
