Program Info

Girl Scouts gives every girl access to life changing experiences that inspire her to do something BIG!

The types of activities girls do should be selected in partnership between the girls and the adult(s) they are working with. The activities should reflect the girls’ interests and needs, physical and emotional readiness, and their skill level and preparation. They should provide for a progressive learning experience for the individuals and group as a whole. And don’t forget... girls join Girl Scouting to have fun and experience new adventures, so the program must provide for these elements as well.

The safety of our girls is always of paramount concern, so when selecting activities, be sure they meet the new Safety Activity Checkpoints.
