Outdoor Skills

Required:  To be able to build charcoal and wood fires outdoors, and to use a propane stove.  This course is also required to build wood fires in indoor fireplaces.
Prerequisite: GSUSA Girl Scouting 101
Description: Learn and practice outdoor skills such as fire building, simple outdoor cooking, dressing for the weather, tying knots, using pocket knives and performing minor first aid.
