The 2012 GSCWM Girl Scout Cookie Program!
COOKIES NOW!

NEW for 2012 GSCWM is implementing a direct sale cookie program. What does that mean? Simply put – girls get cookies in their hands and sell them through door-to-door sales, booth sales and other creative marketing ways. We’ve seen “walkabouts” where troops canvas a neighborhood, drive-through cookie booths at safe  and highly-visited parking lots, or even a mobile cookie wagon where troops decorate a parent’s vehicle and go “where the crowds are”. Girls are only limited by their imagination!

For our 2012 Cookie Program girls will have their cookies in hand January 20 through March 4. This provides for seven weekends and six weeks of selling time.

Will girls still have order cards? Absolutely! The order card is still a great tool for a girl to use to increases her sales. Girls can visit her parent’s office or take the card to school or church and ask people to buy cookies from her. Then, she simply takes the card home, fills the orders from the cookies the troop has and then delivers them to her customers as quickly as the next day! This eliminates customers ordering cookies and then waiting 4-5 weeks to receive them and allows troops to collect, deposit and use funds more quickly.

New for 2012 - Direct Sale!

  • A cookie seen is a cookie sold! Customers love being able to recieve cookies immediately.
  • Fewer trips to cookie cupboards - save on gas and time!
  • Troops get cookies early and can sell to their customers right away.
  • Only one visit to a customer - girls don't have to visit first for the order taking and then for return delivery.
  • One starting date for all sales instead of a pre-order start date, a booth sale date, and a delivery date for pre-ordered cookies.
  • Girls will have the opportunity to sell more cookies and earn more money for Girl Scout activities and projects.
  • Less time-consuming for customers, girls, parents and volunteers!
