WHAT IS GIRL SCOUTING?

Girl Scouts is an informal, educational program designed to stimulate self-discovery in order to develop skills and self-confidence which will serve girls throughout their lives. Through Girl Scouting, girls put into practice the fundamental principles expressed in the Girl Scout Promise and Law. The program is carried out in small groups with supportive adult leadership and provides a wide range of activities developed around the interests and needs of girls. Through active participation, girls make new friends, have fun, build competence and confidence, and acquire understanding about themselves and others.
