Ascentria Care Alliance operates the only Refugee and Immigrant Foster Care program in our state, where dedicated foster parents care for children from more than 25 countries who are in the United States without a parent or guardian to care for them. Each year in May we thank our wonderful foster parents with a special gift and we need your help to both collect supplies and assemble care packages on April 23. An adult must be present with any Girl Scouts who are helping us assemble care packages. Your troop or family can hold their collection of supplies as they see fit. Supplies can be dropped off or you can volunteer to assemble care packages. The supply drive is from March 20 to April 18; the assembly of care packages is on Wednesday, April 23.
