Volunteer as a troop leader: Guide a group of Girl Scouts by creating a fun, safe space. We’ll help you get started with easy-to-use tools like the Girl Scout Experience Box and ready-made Troop Year Plans so you can focus on fun, growth, and connection.
Be a supportive adult volunteer: Help girls thrive by assisting with meetings, activities, or special events, no matter your schedule or experience.
Get involved on your terms. Choose a role that fits your time and interests—from leading a troop to lending a hand behind the scenes.
No previous experience is required to support girls as they build confidence, skills, and lifelong friendships through the Girl Scout experience. Your local Girl Scout Council can help get you started.

New to Girl Scouts? When you sign up for the first time, you will have two options to unlock a world full of adventures, friendships, and discoveries.
Extended Year Membership through September 30, 2027.
For a limited time, families who are new to Girl Scouts can join for $111 for girls and $42 for adults. This option lets you start early this spring and includes the entire next Girl Scout year.
No matter which route you take, Girl Scout fun awaits. Choose the one that works for you!
The Girl Scout membership year runs from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027. Annual membership dues are $65 for girl members and $30 for adult members. Additional local fees and discounts may apply. Financial aid may be available. Girl Scout memberships must be renewed annually.

Do you have a career or interest you’d like to share with Girl Scouts? Maybe you code for fun or build battle bots in your spare time. Maybe you sew in your sleep or you can find your way around with only a compass. Or maybe you hunt for geocaches on the daily, use the world around you to create art, can fix a car, or own your own business. Did you know there’s a badge for that-and so much more? When troops are interested in earning badges, troop volunteers sometimes look to the professionals in order to help their troops earn these badges.
GSCWM invites YOU to share your knowledge, experience, and passions with our Girl Scouts! If you are willing to join our Program Consultant Resource database so that our volunteers can contact you directly to work with their troops in your area of skills, please let us know here!
You do not need a Girl Scout membership or CORI background check to participate as a Program Consulant.
