
The GSCWM Annual Meeting takes place every spring and is where we all work together with the vision to continue providing exceptional programs and experiences for girls.
The annual meeting includes the board chair’s report, the CEO’s state of the council address, council updates, important votes, and election of board members. All GSCWM members 14 years of age and older are encouraged to participate as voting members at the Annual Meeting. It’s a great way to engage in the business of our organization and to get a first look at the annual report. Older Girl Scouts are encouraged to join!

Erika Dulmaine is a Compliance Consultant with MassMutual in Springfield where she is responsible for the corporate compliance education and training program. She has over 30 years of experience within the Financial Services industry. In addition to her role at MassMutual, Erika also owns and operates the Dream Vacations travel agency where she helps families reconnect on custom-crafted vacations. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Nichols College. Erika grew up in central Massachusetts and currently resides in North Grafton with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys traveling with her husband, reading and playing Pickleball.
Neliana is the Digital Project Coordinator for Baystate Health’s marketing team. She manages projects, serves as an admin for the network’s intranet, and helps maintain the external website. Before transitioning into marketing, Neliana was a reporter and producer for several years at news stations in upstate New York and Vermont. In 2016, Neliana graduated from Quinnipiac University with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Economics. While a Girl Scout, she earned her Silver and Bronze Awards, as well as religious awards, and she is a Gold Award Girl Scout. Neliana also helped co-found GSCWM's Girl Leadership Board, served as a non-voting girl member on the GSCWM Board of Directors, and is completing her first term as a voting member on the GSCWM Board of Directors. Neliana lives in Ludlow with her husband and son. In her spare time, she loves reading, writing YA fiction, and running a rabbit care education website.
Sara Flynn is a Director within Fidelity Heath at Fidelity Investments. She has been with Fidelity 10 years in various product and client-facing roles. She received her bachelor’s degree from Assumption University and a master’s degree in health care administration from Worcester State University. Sara is passionate about volunteering her time and advocating for others. Focusing on inclusivity and accessibility, Sara created and led an eight-week course on creating accessible products for Fidelity clients. She recently volunteered on the Town of Leicester Master Plan Committee. Her passion lies in creating spaces where all individuals, regardless of background or ability, feel empowered to lead and succeed. As a former Girl Scout, Sara spent a lot of time at Girl Scout camp – an experience she says helped shape her into a confident, values-driven leader. Sara looks forward to supporting the Girl Scout mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
Jennifer is the Vice President of Marketing and Community Outreach for Bay State Savings Bank. An alumni of Syracuse University in Upstate New York, Jennifer moved back to the Worcester area where she grew up post-graduation to begin her career in Marketing and Communications. She has worked previously for Seven Hills Foundation & Affiliates as well as for the State as the Deputy Director of Communications for the Office of Consumer Affairs & Business Regulation. An active community leader, Jennifer graduated from the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2021 Leadership Worcester Cohort and enjoys spending her free time volunteering and giving back to her community. She volunteers and serves on many various boards and committees, including as Head Swim Coach and Program Coordinator for the Special Olympics Auburn Rocketeers, Vice President of the Board of Directors for the New Hampshire Teen Institute, and Marketing Committee for the Women’s Initiative. Jennifer was a Girl Scout for over 15 years growing up in Rutland and has fond memories of her troop and leader, Mrs. Ruth Lowe. Jennifer is completing her first term as a member-at-large on the GSCWM Board of Directors.
Abigail . Mensah (Orealns-Thompson), a first-generation Ghanaian American, is an experienced educator and equity leader with over a decade of service in educational access, student support, and community development. She currently serves as Dean of Equity & Inclusion at Worcester Academy where she leads student-centered programming, supports historically marginalized populations, and fosters inclusive community partnerships across the city of Worcester. Abigail holds an Ed.M. from Boston University and is pursuing her Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership at Maryville University. She serves on the boards of the Worcester History Museum and African Community Education (ACE) and is a Trustee Associate at the Nativity School of Worcester. A graduate of Leadership Worcester (Class of 2024), Abigail is deeply committed to mentorship, youth empowerment, and advancing equity through education. Her work reflects the Girl Scout mission of making the world a better place by championing community-rooted growth, fostering belonging, and empowering the next generation of change makers.
Jennifer Merton is a Senior Lecturer at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She is the Director of the Business Law Program, and currently serves as the Associate Chair of the Management Department. She is also the Director of the Isenberg Ethics Competition and coach for the Isenberg Ethics Team. Additionally, she has a part-time law practice in East Longmeadow. Jennifer received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College and her juris doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. She was a Girl Scout as a girl, served as a leader for both of her daughters, was the unit coordinator for East Longmeadow and volunteered for many other council initiatives, including Lawyer for the Day. Believing that Girl Scouts provides wonderful opportunities for girls to flourish and grow, Jennifer says she is honored to have the chance to serve Girl Scouts as a board member.
Katie is the Agricultural Education Coordinator, Agritourism/Culinary Tourism Coordinator and the Massachusetts Dairy Promotion Coordinator at the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR). Coming from a family of multi-generational fruit and vegetable farmers in Dudley and Oxford, Katie was raised working on her maternal grandparent’s vegetable farm as a farm hand and farmers market associate. It was there that her passion for agriculture and education was first cultivated, and she decided to pursue a career in agricultural education and marketing. Katie received her B.S. in Geography/Environmental & Global Studies from Worcester State University and her M.S. in Professional Communications from Clark University. A proud Gold Award Girl Scout and lifetime Girl Scout member, Katie has been involved in Girl Scouts for 28 years. Katie is greatly involved in her community and currently serves as Secretary for the Dudley Agricultural Advisory Commission. Katie enjoys beekeeping, reading, knitting, and spending time at home with her family and 2 cats, Stellaluna and Apollo. Katie is completing her first term as a member-at-large on the GSCWM Board of Directors.
Prisha Konduru is a high school junior and a Silver Award Girl Scout. Extremely active in her school and in her community, Prisha is a National Honors Society member, serves on her school’s band leadership team, and is a three-time receiver of the President’s Volunteer Service Award – one at the Silver level and two at the Gold level, and is a recipient of the Rotary Youth Leadership Award. She serves on GSCWM’s Girl Advisory Board and has been a Girl Scout member for four years. For her Silver Award, Prisha created an “Essentials Cabinet” in the Westborough Public Library to provide community members with a safe environment to take hygiene essentials. She took a four credit course at Babson College, Entrepreneurial Experience, where she developed an online business addressing the needs of girls in developing countries and she served on the DECA Leadership Team for two years. Prisha is passionate about the Girl Scout mission and eager to serve on the Board of Directors to enhance GSCWM’s impact and looking forward to tackling challenges and developing impactful solutions to create a more inclusive and growth-fostering experience for all Girl Scouts.
Lisa is a North Adams City Councilor where she has served as Council President and chaired the Finance, Public Safety and Community Development committees. In 2016 she served as President of the Massachusetts Municipal Association, the first from Berkshire County to hold that position in over 20 years. Lisa works as a School Business Administrator after spending time as a Town Administrator and then a Treasurer/Collector. She is a certified Treasurer, a certified Municipal Public Procurement Officer and a Licensed School Business Administrator. A founding member of the Northern Berkshire Food Festival and volunteer with many activities of the North Adams Office of Tourism, Lisa’s experience in event planning and fundraising stretch back to her days as a Girl Scout in Williamsburg, MA, where she achieved the rank of Girl Scout First Class (now known as a Gold Award Girl Scout). She holds a Bachelor of Science and a master's in business administration from MCLA, a master's Certificate in Municipal Administration and Leadership from Suffolk University. Lisa previously served on the GSCWM Board of Directors and is completing her first term on the GSCWM Board Development Committee.
Amelia is a Partner at Skoler, Abbott, and Presser, P.C. in Springfield where she exclusively represents management in labor and employment matters. Amelia was a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts for a number of years and currently serves on the Board Development Committee. Amelia is the Clerk of the Board for Clinical and Support Options, Inc. and a Member of the Board for the East of the River Chamber of Commerce (ERC5) as well as an ad-hoc Member of the Personnel Committee for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. Amelia also serves on two Town Committees/Boards in Wilbraham: The Commission on Disabilities and the Personnel Board. Amelia resides in Wilbraham with her husband Stephen and their sons, Carter and Reid.
Bonnie is Principal Diversity & Inclusion Officer, at MIT Lincoln Labs, where she collaborates with her team and colleagues across divisions and departments, the Business Transformation Office, MIT Campus, ERGs and other Lab stakeholders and leaders to execute strategies, develop programs and practices that support and advance MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s continued commitment to diversity and inclusion (D&I). She contributes strategic thought leadership using evidence-/data-based methods and solutions to support a holistic approach to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice and Belonging (DEIJB). Most recently, Bonnie completed the Next Generation Executive (NGE) Program, with The Partnership. She was recognized in the Worcester Business Journal (WBJ) Forty Under Forty, Class of 2018, and in 2019 started a column, Outside the Box, for the WBJ. In 2020 and 2021 she received third place in the New England Better Newspaper Competition, for Serious Columnist. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in Sociology, and M.A. in Scientific Communications. She resides in Millbury with her husband and children. Bonnie served on the GSCWM Board of Directors from 2018 to 2024 and is currently serving on the Board Development Committee.
Karen is Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Fresenius Medical Care, Inc. a publicly traded company. She is an advisor to Fresenius’ Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, as well as an executive sponsor to the company’s Female Leadership Consortium. Karen has held varied HR roles throughout her 40-year career and was one of the founders of a privately held tech start-up Akibia, Inc. that grew to $450M revenue serving in various roles including Chief Operating Officer during which she assisted to broker a sale to Zensar Technologies, Inc. Karen has three children, two of whom are Silver Award Girl Scouts. She has served as Girl Scout Troop Leader, cookie mom, and was a prior board member and board development committee member with GSCWM. Because of her commitment to developing females to reach their full potential and her alignment with the Girl Scout mission, Karen is honored to once again serve as a member of the GSCWM Board Development Committee.
Angela Battle serves as a Girl Scout Leader and a service unit volunteer with the goal of empowering girls and strengthening her community through Girl Scouts. As Fall Product Manager and cookie mom, she loves helping girls develop confidence and essential life skills through entrepreneurial experiences. Angela received GSCWM’s Rising Star Award in 2024. Outside of Girl Scouts, she serves at the co-chair of B.O.A.T. (Belchertown Overcoming Adversity Together), a local initiative focused on community resilience and support for people in recovery or struggling with addiction and she is currently running for a seat on the Belchertown Select Board. Angela considers her most important role as being a proud mom to Grayson (16) and Sophie (8), who inspire her every day. She is passionate about creating opportunities for young people to thrive.
Christine is a Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for Fallon Health in Worcester. She is responsible for the organization’s internal and external communications functions, and its community engagement and charitable giving. In addition to her role as First Vice-Chair of the Board for the GSCWM, Christine is a Board member of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation, a board member of the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, and an Emerita member of the Leadership Council for the United Way of Central Massachusetts’ Women’s Initiative. She was recognized in 2008 by GSCWM as a Woman of Distinction, chaired the 2015 and 2016 Worcester Women’s Leadership Conferences, was selected by the YWCA of Central MA as its 2017 recipient of the Katharine F. Erskine Award in Business and Law, and named as one of the Worcester Business Journal’s Outstanding Women in Business in 2019. She graduated summa cum laude from Becker College where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Nancy Gottlieb has been active in Girl Scouting for 38 years; five as a youth member, and 33 years as a Girl Scout Leader. She led two troops from Kindergarten Daisies through high school graduation where eleven of the members became Gold Award Girl Scouts. Nancy also served as a Girl Scout trainer, service unit coordinator for Adult Recognitions and town-wide encampments, and Girl Scout Cookie Coordinator. She served as a National Delegate in 2002. Just last year (2024) Nancy started a Daisy troop in the Four Rivers Service Unit so that her granddaughter could have an opportunity to experience Girl Scouts. Professionally, Nancy practiced labor and employment law, criminal law, and general litigation before retiring. She served on her town’s finance committee and currently leads the Safety Committee for her synagogue.
Emily Paseos is a Girl Scout Senior with nearly 10 years of involvement in Girl Scouts, participating in both her neighborhood Troop and GSCWM’s High Adventure Troop. She credits Girl Scouts with sparking her passion for service and leadership. Emily has earned the Girl Scout Bronze and Girl Scout Silver Awards, served two terms on the GSCWM Girl Advisory Board, and received the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Emily feels these experiences have shaped her voice in guiding Girl Scouts and highlighted the power of collaboration. In March 2025, she participated in a service trip to Tobati, Paraguay, where she worked alongside high school students facing poverty and limited opportunities as part of their daily life. She contributed to creating a garden, working at a brick-making factory, and assisting at the Macchi School. This experience expanded her understanding of global issues and reinforced the importance of selflessness, which helps her to fully embrace the Girl Scout Mission. She is excited to represent Girl Scouts as a National Council Delegate and help the organization thrive.
Shruti Sivashankar is a Girl Scout Ambassador and a Silver Award Girl Scout. She has been with the organization for ten years. Shruti wants to bring her dedicated, resourceful, and collaborative nature she’s honed as a Girl Scout to the national level as a delegate. She serves in her community’s Older Girl Council, assists with meetings for younger Girl Scouts, and creates activities for Girl Scout encampments. She received the Presidents Volunteer Service Award and participates on her high school’s crew team. Shruti is one of 18 appointed members of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Youth Council. She feels the values she’s learned throughout her Girl Scout experience position her to actively participate on the youth council with the opportunity to create state-level legislation and change.
Theresa Lynn serves as CEO of Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts. Her strong commitment to community engagement and her passion for the wellbeing of children and families led her to previous roles as Senior Vice President of the United Way of Central Massachusetts where she focused on connecting people and much needed resources; as the executive director for Back on My Feet, addressing homelessness and job insecurity in Boston; and as executive director for ReadBoston where she led the only comprehensive early literacy program in the city for 14 years. Theresa serves as a board member for the Worcester Education Collaborative as well as the BioBuilder Education Foundation. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, an MBA from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of Holy Cross in Worcester. Her contributions to the community have been acknowledged with a Heroes Among Us award from the Boston Celtics and recognition as a Top 40 under 40 in Boston by the Boston Business Journal.
Sheryl is Vice President Advisory Client Partner with Optum. With over 30 years’ experience in the health insurance and medical provider industry, Sheryl is an innovative and results-oriented executive and strategic thought leader with extensive experience in both operational and information technology domains committed to making healthcare work better.
In addition to her role as the Treasurer of the GSCWM, Sheryl is the President of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Metro West chapter and a member of the board of advisors for the Macgregor Communications Boston Project Management Summit. She is a member of CHIEF a private network for executive women to maximize leadership impact.
Sheryl has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University and an MBA from Assumption University. Sheryl has mentored college freshmen at Bryant University for several years in the freshman IDEA design thinking program as well as a mentor for college seniors in the Women in Leadership course. Sheryl resides in Shrewsbury, MA with her husband and has a son and two daughters.
Elizabette is the Superintendent of Public Works for the City of Chicopee where she oversees nine departments and over 200 employees. She is a registered Professional Civil Engineer in the state of Massachusetts and has a combined 18 years’ experience in Consulting and Public Works management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University. She also serves as the President of the Board for the Portuguese Community Cultural Association as well as an active Board member for the Gremio Lusitano (Portuguese) Club, both in Ludlow. Elizabette resides in Ludlow with her family where she enjoys the strong presence of the Portuguese Culture that she grew up with.
Jennifer Cluett has worked at Worcester Polytechnic Institute for more than 25 years and currently serves as the Associate Vice-President for Enrollment Management & Dean of Admissions at WPI. She is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of new undergraduate students. She also serves as a member of the University's inaugural Staff Council. Jennifer was a Girl Scout for seven years and later served as a Brownie troop leader while a college student at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. A resident of Charlton, Jennifer is married and has three children. Her passions include all things Disney and jigsaw puzzles.
Meagen is Executive Director at the Fitchburg Redevelopment Authority where she works across public, private, and corporate sectors to improve conditions within the community. She is very active in her community serving as board president for the Massachusetts Economic Development Council, a board member for Making Opportunity Count and alumni board member as well as an alumni admissions volunteer at Elmira College. She holds a Masters of Regional Planning from UMASS Amherst, a Masters of Science, Higher Education from Syracuse University and a BA from Elmira College.
Cortney is the Associate Director of Admission, DEI coordinator at College of the Holy Cross. She is responsible for initiatives and programming that support marginalized populations through the college admissions process. As the first one in her family to go to college, access to education is important to her. She has presented numerous times on college access for first-generation students at the New England Association for College Admission Counseling Annual Meeting Conference and at the national level at National Association for College Admission Counseling, Guiding the Way to Inclusion Conference. She graduated from Assumption College with a degree in Mathematics in 2013 and went on to earn a Masters of Higher Education from Northeastern University in 2019. She currently resides in Pawtucket, RI.
Kimberly is a Workforce Development Specialist at College of the Holy Cross where she provides organizational development support to meet the College’s needs with a specific focus on DEI. She develops strategies for innovation and engagement with employees and community partners. Kimberly serves on the board of Sophia’s Fund and is a volunteer lead counselor at Camp Sunshine, a retreat for families who have a child with a life-threatening illness. She holds a Masters of Science degree from Northeastern University and a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion for HR from Cornell University.
Chris is the Chief Engineer of Television for New England Public Media (WGBY-TV) in Springfield. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from SUNY Plattsburgh. Originally from Rochester, NY, he has lived in South Hadley with his family for 26 years. Chris previously served on the board of directors for the Girl Scouts of Western Massachusetts and then on the GSCWM board after serving on the committee that merged the three central and western councils of Massachusetts in 2008.
Stefanie is the Director of Programs and Events for the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce. Prior to her role at the Chamber, Stefanie was the Sales and Catering Manager at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel. From 2005-2017 Stefanie worked for Outback Steakhouse, Bloomin Brands, as the Regional Director of Training, overseeing the training and operations of over 100 restaurants and new store openings in the Northeast territory. Born and raised in Worcester, Stefanie attended Worcester Public Schools and continued her education at Westfield State and Worcester State University. She currently serves on the Advisory Committee on the Status of Women for the City of Worcester. Stefanie lives in the city with her husband Clessio and son Luca.
Finn is going into their first year as a Girl Scout Senior. They joined as a Girl Scout Daisy and enjoy working with younger Girl Scouts. They have been helping younger troops for about three years, presently helping with a first and second year Daisy troop and a second year Brownie troop, as well as assisting leaders with events in their Service Unit. Finn is a member of GSCWM’s Girl Advisory Board, and a member of their service units’ Older Girl Scout Council. They have earned numerous leadership awards, including all LiA (Leadership in Action) awards, the Torch Award, the Cadette Community Service and Service to Girl Scouts bars, and the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award having completed over 250 hours of community service this year. They are a Bronze and a Silver Award Girl Scout.
We welcome and encourage every current member, age 14 and over, to attend the GSCWM annual meeting in person. However, we realize it is not feasible for everyone. In order to ensure you have the opportunity to be represented and we can accomplish the business before us, we provide an option for members to appoint a Proxy to vote on their behalf at the annual meeting.
