Learning about the US government and democracy is crucial for young people as it empowers them to become informed, active participants in their community and society. During this self-paced, digital course, participants learn about local, state, and national government. Learners will complete art projects related to the branches of government, state capitals, and local government issues. Work on our Democracy Badge (not included). While we encourage you to sign up on the dates listed on our calendar (because planning is helpful), the workshops are pre-recorded-which means you can watch and complete them anytime that suits you! Join us for a flexible, fun, and fabulous learning experience from the comfort of your own space. Girls will need to gather their own materials to join in the fun. Materials needed will be listed in the registration description. Think of it as your first creative mission!
