BILINGUAL MEMBERSHIP SPECIALIST
Girl Scouts of Central & Western MA is hiring a Bilingual Membership Specialist to introduce Girl Scouts to communities who don't know much about us or don't realize there is a place for them in the organization. Girls aren't the only ones ready to spend time outdoors this summer! We're looking for camp staff who would love to join them - keeping the fun, friendship, and adventure alive while enforcing strict health and safety guidelines. The following camp staff positions are open with the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts for summer 2021. HEALTH SPECIALIST positions are always critical to a happy, healthy camp. If you are an EMT, nurse, nurse practitioner or other health professional…and have a school-age daughter, you could both experience the fresh air, smiles, and laughter at Girl Scout camp! In addition to a salary of $500 - $800/week (dependent on qualifications), your daughter could participate in the camp program as a bonus. Join us at our resident camps Bonnie Brae in Otis or Green Eyrie in Harvard or our day camps Laurel Wood in Spencer or Lewis Perkins in South Hadley for a week, 2 weeks or the summer.
On a hot summer day (yes, they’re coming!), nothing can beat water fun! LIFEGUARDS are needed at all our camps – Bonnie Brae in Otis, Green Eyrie in Harvard, Laurel Wood in Spencer, and Lewis Perkins in South Hadley. Camp Lewis Perkins has an in-ground pool and the others feature beautiful waterfronts with swimming and boating. Camp with other staff and campers all summer or just spend weekdays with us. We're looking for a DAY CAMP DIRECTOR who would love to join girls outside this summer - keeping the fun, friendship, and adventure alive while enforcing strict health and safety guidelines. This position is at Camp Laurel Wood in Spencer, MA. Camp directors must be at least 25 years old and have at least two years leadership experience in a camp or youth setting.
As an ASSISTANT CAMP DIRECTOR at Camp Green Eyrie in Harvard, MA, you will sharpen your camp leadership skills, build your resume, and help girls feel safe outdoors and inspired by their natural surroundings. We prefer Assistant Camp Directors to be at least 25 years old and they should have at least two years leadership experience in a camp or youth setting. Resident camp staff members live at camp for the summer.
PROGRAM DIRECTORS are needed at Camp Laurel Wood (day camp in Spencer, MA) and Camp Green Eyrie (resident camp in Harvard, MA). Help fill girls’ days with STEM activities, archery (must be a trained instructor or willing to be trained), nature exploration, arts & crafts, and more!
CAMP COUNSELORS work directly with the same group of girls each week. Help girls build confidence and skills in the outdoors, courage to try new things, and discover a little more about what they value in themselves and others. Resident (overnight) camps in East Otis (Bonnie Brae) and Harvard (Green Eyrie) and our day camps in Spencer (Laurel Wood) and South Hadley (Lewis Perkins) all have open counselor positions.
Girl Scouts love to be outdoors and they love to be at their Girl
Scout camp properties! We are seeking a SEASONAL CAMP RANGER
at Camp Green Eyrie in Harvard, MA to ensure the property is safe,
functional, and welcoming for them. If you have experience in general
property maintenance and minor carpentry, plumbing and electrical
work, consider joining us for the summer.
The successful candidate will:
- have a valid MA driver’s license and good driving record
- enjoy both working independently and with others on a team
- plan and manage workloads with shifting priorities
- be calm and efficient in emergency situations
- be able to do physical work in outdoor seasonal weather
- have demonstrated maturity, sound judgement and integrity
