YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ORGANIZER
Positions Available in HOLYOKE, MA and WORCESTER, MA

As a professional Girl Scout employee, you will receive training and gain hands-on experience to build your resume, including:

  • Salesforce – a leading customer relationship management (CRM) software application
  • Looker – software application recently acquired by Google that supports data driven decision-making
  • Sandler Sales Method – learn to sell with ease
  • Leadership Development – the Girl Scout Leadership Experience is the result of 110 years of delivering age-appropriate youth development programming for girls

Make a real difference in the world by helping girls prepare to be ready and resilient when things get tough, inviting them to engage in topics like:

  • healthy eating and body image
  • living life under a social media microscope
  • social justice
  • connecting with the outdoors
  • learning business basics with their own Girl Scout Cookie business

Some families don't know much about us or don't realize there is a place for them in Girl Scouts.  To best serve all communities, familiarity with the Hispanic culture and fluency in Spanish are a plus.  The starting pay range is $35,000 - $38,000/year, depending on skill level and experience.

The purpose of the position is to recruit new Girl Scouts, retain members, and support adult volunteers who deliver the program.  We identify areas of opportunity, engage with those communities and create partnerships to offer Girl Scouts to girls.

DIRECTOR OF FUND DEVELOPMENT
Based in Worcester

We can’t snap our fingers and make everything right with the world but we can help girls take steps to be ready and resilient when things get tough.  As a key member of the leadership team, the fund development director has the unique opportunity to help girls improve their lives by engaging in topics like living life under a social media microscope, healthy eating and body image, social justice, making strong connections with the outdoors, and learning business basics by running their own Girl Scout Cookie business.  This position is based in Worcester and covers the full jurisdiction of the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts (GSCWM).  The starting pay range is $65,000 - $75,000/year, depending on skill level and experience.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST/STORE MANAGER 
Worcester, MA

As a professional Girl Scout employee, you will receive training and gain hands-on experience in Salesforce (a leading customer relationship management (CRM) software application), Looker (software application recently acquired by Google that supports data driven decision-making), and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (110 years of delivering age-appropriate youth development programming for girls).

Set the tone for a helpful, pleasant, and inclusive experience when you greet visitors in-person or on the phone. You'll become a wealth of knowledge about the Girl Scout Program and the computer applications we use. Provide phone and online support to guide customers as they register to become a member, sign up for camp and other activities, or access online training and resources.

Our Girl Scout store carries pins, badges, patches, books, uniform components, and more. We also accommodate online purchases. Help customers learn about the Girl Scout Program and the items they need to get started or, for experienced Girl Scouts, changes in program resources, new awards, special clothing and promotional items, etc. We have a small store in Worcester and one in Holyoke. You will order stock for both stores, manage inventory, and work with the finance department to establish reporting and reconciliation procedures.

English is not the primary language for some of our Girl Scout families. To best serve all communities, familiarity with the Hispanic culture and fluency in Spanish are a plus.

Starting pay is $35,000/year.

Seasonal Employment Positions

Summer camps will be starting before you know it and we’re hiring camp staff members who are excited to help girls build courage, confidence, and character in an outdoor setting. Creating and maintaining an environment where diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are genuine goals and drivers for our work is everyone’s job. If you thrive in the outdoors, and love the spontaneity and high-energy of working with girls, spending your summer at Girl Scout camp might be a good fit for you.
