Camp Laurel Wood | Day Camp | Spencer, Massachusetts
Girl Scout camp has it all and is open to all girls – no prior Girl Scout experience needed to attend! At Camp Laurel Wood, enjoy waterfront swimming, canoeing, paddle boating, archery, low elements challenge course, and more! Each week at day camp has a new theme that carries across all age groups.
Day camp programs run Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Day Camp Campers attending day camp bring their own lunch and snacks each day. Additional snacks are provided by camp as needed.
Day Camp Bus Information
Bus Stops for Day Camp Busing is available for $100 a week to and from Camp Laurel Wood. We are unable to add any additional bus stops.

Program Information
Celebrate a new theme each week at day camp! In addition to all your favorite camp activities, add a twist to the week with themed crafts and special events. Specific activities vary based on age group and camper interest. Age group availability and themes at each camp vary by week.
Stars, Stripes, and STEM: Celebrate the 4th of July week with
red, white, and blue themed experiments. This week has a 3-day option
to accommodate the 4th of July holiday.

(Gr 2-3), Juniors (Gr 4-5), and Cadettes (Gr 6-8)
Creatures & Critters: From cuddly fuzzballs to creepy
crawlies, this week celebrates animals! Each day focuses on a
different kind of creature.

Superheroes: Unleash your inner superhero! You might try out
superhero costumes or create your own super stories.

Adventure Awaits!: Lean into your adventurous side! Each day is
themed around a new adventure. From daring explorers to whimsical
pirates, your only limit is your imagination!

Magic & Fairy Tales: Add some magic to your week! You might
make your own magic wand, search camp for mythical creatures, or make
imaginative snacks in the kitchen.

International Celebration: Inspired by the 2024 Paris games,
we’re going global to explore cultures from around the world. You
might try a new kind of food, enjoy music and crafts from another
culture, and participate in an Olympics-inspired all-camp game.
Available for Brownies (Gr 2-3), and Juniors (Gr 4-5)
Program Aide Once you have completed a council-led Program Aide (PA) Core Training, continue your leadership journey with a week at camp, where you will help lead activities for younger girls and earn your Program Aide award!
Day Camp Optional Extras
Camp Fireflies (all ages), $25 Love camp, but love your own bed more? Spend extra time at camp on Thursday evening to experience more camp magic. Have dinner at camp with your friends and end the evening around the campfire. Campers should be picked up from camp at 8:00 PM.
