You can become a Bronze Award Girl Scout if you:

Are in fourth or fifth grade
Are a registered Girl Scout Junior
Have completed a Junior Leadership Award

Hey, grownups!

When you support Girl Scouts earning their Bronze Awards, you’ll help them see their own power and be by their side as they make a lasting change in their community. Use this guide (available in English and Español) to get started today.

Bronze Award Orientation for Adults toggle arrow

Orientations are open to troop volunteers and parents who are interested in learning more about the Girl Scout Bronze Award and how to guide their Juniors to earning it. We'll review the national requirements step-by-step, go over timelines, processes, and paperwork, as well as have plenty of time for questions. Arm yourself with the tools and knowledge you'll need to lead your Juniors to a successful Girl Scout Bronze Award experience. Bronze Award Orientations are required to be taken by at least one adult working with a team of Juniors on their Bronze Awards within one year of beginning the award.

Bronze Award Workshops for Girls toggle arrow

Imagine what YOU can accomplish when you team up with others and use your special skills and interests to make a difference in the world! The Girl Scout Bronze Award adventure is big - it's the highest honor a Junior Girl Scout can achieve! We're here to help you learn all about the steps, some tips and tricks, and even get you started on your way. Taking this workshop is not required for girls, but it is a great way to take that first step and arm yourself with all you need to know! At least one adult working with Juniors on a Bronze Award is required to take a Bronze Award Orientation.

Bronze Award Patrols toggle arrow

Do you have questions about the Girl Scout Bronze Award? Bronze Patrols are informal Zoom calls where girls and adults can ask questions, get help with a challenge, run your project ideas by the council, do some brainstorming, and get general assistance. Just starting out and need more than that? Be sure to register for a Bronze Award Orientation where we go over all of the steps in detail. Bronze Patrols do not meet the requirement of at least one adult working with a group of Juniors must take a Bronze Award Orientation within a year of starting the Bronze Award process.
