Shout out to North Berkshire Service Unit 102!
They had a terrific showing in North Adams’ Fall Foliage Parade. Fifty Girl Scouts from multiple troops decorated various wagons to the theme of “Once Upon a Time in North Berkshire” celebrating children’s books and fairy tales. The larger than life Girl Scout puppet, featured on the front page of the Berkshire Eagle the next day, was a big hit and has already been invited to next year’s parade. The service unit had 300 flyers announcing an upcoming recruitment event which they handed out along the parade route and ran out about half way!
