Media Girls: Be the Voice of Girl Scouts
The GSCWM Media Squad gives Girl Scouts the chance to represent our council in videos, photos, media interviews, community events, and more, all while building skills, confidence, and experience for the future.
What Media Girls Do
Media Girls help tell the Girl Scout story across multiple platforms and events:
- Videos and photos for marketing materials, social media, and council communications
- Community events and media interviews
By participating, Media Squad members become ambassadors of the Girl Scout Experience, sharing the courage, confidence, and fun spirit of Girl Scouts with the world.
Who Should Apply
We’re looking for Girl Scouts who are:
- Comfortable in front of a camera or eager to learn
- Creative and enthusiastic about telling the Girl Scout story
No prior media experience is required, just energy, personality, and a willingness to learn, grow, and shine!

Next Steps
- Complete Interest form by August 15
- Get notified by August 28
- Attend online interview and intro (Zoom or Teams)
- If selected, attend at least one online and one in-person (location TBD based on participants) media training by September 30. Trainings will cover on-camera presence, radio interview tips, messaging, and representation.
