Calling Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors to the Eric Carle Museum for Picture Book Art in Amherst! The Carle is opening early just for Girl Scouts! Would you like to try the art medium Eric Carle used to create The Very Hungry Caterpillar? What happens when you blend colors and shapes on paper to design a new creature? How do illustrators design their art to show action and feelings? Museum staff will guide you to discover, create, and then share your art in a special exhibition while you earn your Art and Design Badge (not included). Families are invited to enjoy the exhibition at pick-up before Girl Scouts take their artwork home. Program fee includes Museum admission and a 10% discount to use in the Gift Shop after the program. Due to space limitations, we encourage troops to only bring the number of adults required by Volunteer Essentials.
